Sudhanyakhali

Sudhanyakhali is the name of a Forest Camp in the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve of West Bengal, India which is situated on an island. It is also a tourist attraction because of the famous Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower. Here you can get a glimpse of the Royal Bengal Tiger, saltwater crocodile, axis deer and wild boars. The Sundarbans is a mangrove area in the delta formed by the confluence of the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna Rivers in the Bay of Bengal. It spans from the Hooghly River in India's state of West Bengal to the Baleswar River in Bangladesh. The Sundarbans is home to an estimated 2600 animal species, including 50 mammalian species such as The Bengal Tiger, Asian Small-clawed Otters and Gangetic River Dolphins, 356 Bird Species such as Ospreys, 11 species of turtles, 13 lizards, 37 snakes, 10 toads, more than 350 species of fishes.
